Stupid uni antics
What a frustrating “day” I had at uni this morning. I was supposed to be going in for an interview regarding my assignment for Systems Analysis and Design. I think I’ve mentioned previously that this course requires work to be marked via interview to determine how much knowledge has been obtained - annoying really. Anyway my interview was scheduled for 9.45 so I got up nice and early to get ready and catch the train into the city. When I got to RMIT I met my tutor and after a few greetings, he asked what group I presented in (from the presentations in the tutorial). I told him and he found his mark sheet. Then he said, “Your presentation was excellent I don’t need to see any more.” I thought he was joking but he quickly shuffled me out of his office so he could meet the next person and so after spending no more than two minutes with him, I was on my way back down to Flinders Street to catch the train home.
I suppose the good side to this is that I will get a good mark for the assignment but it’s really frustrating to spend over an hour travelling and waiting for trains - thanks Connex for cancelling my return trip - only to spend more time in the elevator at uni than I did with my tutor! Ah well I’m home now playing C&C Generals. The expansion pack is still downloading. :)
