Dinner at Han’s
Last night I trundled down to Mount Eliza for dinner at Hannah’s. It was a good night and the food was great too. Richard’s Green Thai Curry and Cajun Salmon was on the menu and, although spicy food isn’t to my liking, it was yum! Dessert was a different story. They were called Rum Balls, but I’m still not sure what was actually in them. Whatever they were, a more suitable name would have been Rum Grenades. They tasted good but I couldn’t put my finger on what was in them, all I know is that it was strong.
After dinner, it transformed into a party atmosphere, with pool and music to keep everyone entertained. I lost two games and decided it wan’t my night to be taking people on at pool but I still say it was the table’s incredibly bad roll that caused my defeat. Funnily enough, the sober vs drunk rounds of pool that we had going stood to proove the point that having a few makes you play better.
I managed to get home by 1.30 am and set a new record on my Frankston Freeway time trials. For those who don’t know, I basically time how long it takes me to travel the freeway end-to-end. Last nights time was 6m 15s which beat my last record by almost 40 seconds. I don’t know anyone who has managed to beat me, since travelling at 160km/h usually attracts some attention, although I’m sure Dean probably could!
