It seems there’s a neverending supply of quirky Connex stories, and this one (sent to me by Chris) is no exception.
“Two train passengers were able to break into an inactive driver’s cab during a peak-hour train service last week and broadcast lewd messages over the PA system because of a security flaw in the trains, Connex confirmed today.”

Well at least Connex can’t be blamed for this one, anyway at least a ‘lewd’ conversation is better than their usual ‘now approaching …….’ messages which for some reason are always telling you that your approaching some city loop station when really you’ve just left Pakenham.

Well Connex could have rectified the problem earlier. Or perhaps secured the drivers’ cabs! But hey, it’s nice to see you can take it out of Connex as much as the next person.
